This property is 2 minutes walk from the beach. Hotel Poseidon enjoys breathtaking sea views from its sun terrace. The beach and Positano's historic center are within walking distance.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a wellness area with a Turkish bath excavated in the rocks.

An extensive sweet and savory buffet is provided daily including scrambled eggs and bacon.

The elegant, rustic restaurant serves traditional Neapolitan cuisine. In summer, dinner is served on Hotel Poseidon's terrace.

Poseidon's rooms are typically Mediterranean is décor and design. They all feature free Wi-Fi. Porter service is available day and night, free of charge.

Location, location, location! Hotel Poseidon sits up on the hills and offers it’s guests incredible views of the beautiful coastal town of Positano. The hotel also had a fabulous pool, delicious restaurant and bar, and beauty centre. The rooms are adorable and authentic with almost all room categories boasting a private terrace.

The hotel is home to the incredible bar and restaurant Il Tridente which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinners! Chef Antonio Sorrentino and his team love to honor the Neapolitan culinary tradition; they created a menu with special dishes that have been passed on for generations! But aside from the incredible food and friendly staff, this place is the perfect spot to catch a Positano sunset while enjoying a refreshing aperitivo with good company!

THE HISTORY OF RISTORANTE DA GELSOMINA

Ristorante Da Gelsomina opened in the 1950's, when Gelsomina and her husband Raffaele decided to open a small eatery tucked among the vineyards and orchards of the Migliera on Capri, Italy.

One of their first loyal clients was the Swedish physician and author Axel Munthe, who mentioned Gelsomina's mother, Filomena, in his famous book "The Story of San Michele".

Thus was born this tiny spot serving sandwiches, wine, and homemade specialties. Patrons were won over by their handmade cheeses, sausages, and marinated vegetables, and word spread across the island. Their clientele grew quickly, and Filomena and Gelsomina began to prepare more substantial dishes in their home kitchen: rabbit alla cacciatora, "pollo al mattone", "ravioli capresi", and "spaghetti alla chiummenzana" with garden fresh tomatoes. From a humble eatery, Da Gelsomina grew to become a true restaurant. Today, your hosts are Gelsomina and Raffaele, Filomena's grandchildren, along with Gelsomina's husband Pasquale along with her brother Raffaele and his wife Rossella.

This is not only one of the Best Italian Pastry Shops in he area, but one of the Best in all of Italy. this place is First Rate, with its beautiful Pastry Shop Caffe inside, that dates back to 1830, to the amazing array of exquisite Pastries in the Show Cases. Grab a seat ourside or in and order an Espresso or Cappuccino and treat yourself to one of their World Class Desserts. Get a Delizia di Lemone (Lemon Cake) or a Cunchy SFOGLIATELLE that was invented by Nuns at a Convent in the nearby town of CONCA dei MARINI. You'll be doing as good as anyone could wish for. It's so good, you'll probably go back 2 or 3 times. "I did."

If in Sorrento, this is a wonderful little trattoria to have a nice Seafood Lunch or Dinner. It is a family run restaurant. Michael and his brother are Fishermen who catch what you will be eating for your meal. Everything is wonderful, and what's more authentic than a place t That catches their own Fish? It's all super fresh, caught in the morning and on your table for lunch or dinner.

Any type of seafood Antipasti is great, including a mixed seafood antipasto or simply a plate of Cozze Posilipo or Cozze Pepate. Have some Grilled Octopus, Fritto misto (mixed Fried Fish) or a plate of Spaghetti with Clam Sauce (Vongole), "it's all good."

CETARA

This is a True to Life Authentic Fishing Village, a few minutes from Salerno. Go to any Trattoria here for a great plate of Spaghetti Vongole and one of the Best Seafood Meals you'll have in your entire life. The town is famous for its Alici (Anchovies) and Tonno (Tuna), but that's not all they have, it's all good, and as Fresh as Fresh can be.
