My own personal Favorite Beach is La Scogliera Beach, another Private Beach Club, which is just past Spiaggi Grande. It's not cheap, but it's worth the splurge, of which I have been doing since 1985.

Fornillo Beach is the other of the main Beaches of the town of Positano.
There's a Private Beach, and a large Free Beach as Well.
ARIENZO BEACH CLUB — Arienzo Beach Club is reachable via, you guessed it, shuttle boat from the main pier! Every 30 minutes from 10am to 1pm. Unlike the others, you can book Arienzo online and there are tons of different package options to choose from!
TREVILLE BEACH CLUB — Treville Beach Club is located on a private beach just outside of town. It is reachable via shuttle boat from the main Positano pier every hour starting at 10am.
ONE FIRE BEACH CLUB — One Fire is in Praiano, the town next to Positano, at Gavitella Beach. You can get to it via free boat shuttle from the main pier in Positano.

The Hotel Poseidon is one of Positano's most popular hotel. It's a nice family run hotel. Two major factors in its popularity is that it is situated at one the most desirable spots in town, that affords guest and visitors probably the best view in all of Positano.
The second major plus, is the hotels large terrace and outdoor pool, with a wonderful restaurant and bar, and you don't have to be a guest to enjoy them. And it is on the terrazzo that you can enjoy one of Positano's most gorgeous views, as you enjoy lunch or dinner, or sip a Negroni, or Aperol Spritz anytime of the day. This is one of the most enjoyable things you can do in all of Positano. Simply enjoy a cocktail as you savor one of the World's great view.
