POSITANO
2015
I took this picture, walking down the Via Pasitea, Positano in the Summer of 2015.
I had a wonderful vacation that year, going back to Positan, staying on Capri and Naples
for a few days each, and three wonderful days on the Lemon Farm Agriturismo Villa Maria,
Minori.

MY FAVORITE HOTEL on CAPRI
HOTEL La TOSCA
"This is my favoprite hotel in Capri. I Love it. And it has special memories for me, on my first trip to Capri, in the Summer of 1986 ... Back then, it was called Villa Tosca, and it was a very modest Pensione. I found it in my Frommer's Guide to Europe on $40 a day.
It's still own by the same family, however, the son updated it, and made it into a lovely little boutique hotel in the most beautiful spot in all of Capri, by the Giardini (Gardens) of Augustus, across from the Certosa Monastery and The Hotel Luna, and behind The Qisisana. I think the price at Villa Tosca was $34 a night back then.
For anyone who wants to stay in, what I feel is the most beautiful spot in Capri, and don't want to pay (or can't afford) the much higher prices at The Quisisana or the gorgeous La Scalinatella, I highly reccomend La Tosca.

NEAPOLITAN PIZZA
NAPLES, ITALY
1986
This Pizzeria was at the Western End of Piazza Garibaldi when I had Pizza there
in 1986, on my 2nd trip to The Amalfi Coast, Naples, and Capri. They made great Pizza.
I don't remember the name. I'm glad I have pictures, but I wish I knew the name.
I don't know if the place is still in business in another location after they renovated and expanded
the Piazza Garibaldi. Anwyay, I had a great time there and I'm glad I have a few pictures.
